Community Guidelines

Seattle Central Community is an unofficial, student-run space. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or monitored by Seattle Central College's administration. Anyone posting here does so as a fellow student, not as staff.

Anonymous does not mean consequence-free

Posts and comments never show your name, nickname, or email. That's meant to make it easier to ask an honest question or share a hard experience — not a license to say things you wouldn't put your name on. Accounts that repeatedly break these guidelines get their content hidden and, eventually, blocked.

Be kind

Keep it real

If something feels unsafe

Every post, comment, story, and review has a Report option. Reporting hides it from your own feed immediately and flags it for student moderators to review. You can also Block an author to stop seeing anything from them, without needing to explain why.

If you're worried about your own or someone else's immediate safety, this app is not the right channel — contact Seattle Colleges Campus Safety or, in an emergency, call 911.

Moderation

Reports are reviewed by student moderators, not college staff. Content that clearly breaks these guidelines can be removed without notice. Repeated or severe violations can result in an account being blocked from posting.

Questions about these guidelines, or about a moderation decision, can go through the app's report flow — there's no separate contact form yet. See also the privacy notice.
